(A poetry reflection from my one-week devotions of the book of Job.)
God does some things we can’t understand,
Even nature can’t tell everything about His plan.
His wisdom is perfect, He has it by His essence.
His wisdom supersedes all human existence.
God sees our ways and counts every step we take,
Like Job, all those unexpected sufferings that shake.
Yet what truly matters are the words the LORD said,
To look beyond the present & see what is ahead.
God is beyond what we comprehend,
He is in His nature, so incomprehensible.
Even the grass of the fields, how do they grow?
The birds in the air, how can they fly?
God looks to the farthest parts of the earth,
He sees everything under the sky.
How men live, how every living thing survives,
And then He says, “My child, things are too wonderful for you to know.”
